Dr. Samantha Curtis was born and raised in Travelers Rest, SC. She grew up playing in the many creeks and waterfalls of Northern Greenville County and developed an appreciation for the natural world.

She attended Brevard College, just over the state line, and studied Environmental Science and Geology. Along the way she met and fell in love with none other than Dr. Brian. After graduating from Brevard, she moved to California and began a new life.

As Dr. Brian was finishing his undergrad, her boss suggested checking out Life Chiropractic College West in the San Fransisco Bay Area. They both visited and were enamored with the idea that the body was a full ecosystem; a host of billions of lives working synergistically to the same end, a cooperation of all things toward health. They both finished Chiropractic school and promptly moved back down to the beautiful Central Coast, where they practiced until December of  2020.

In 2018, God saw fit to give them their greatest adventure; a little boy named Teddy. He is, and will always be, the reason for everything. Parenthood has taught them many things and challenged the way they think about the world, but one thing is for sure: Families at Cotyledon Chiropractic grow better when we grow together.
